 - CLINICAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST

 

¡à ´ã´ç ¾÷¹«

The primary purpose of the Clinical Technical Support Specialist is to provide expert clinical technical support, and superior customer service in order to achieve maximum clinical availability of VMS products functioning safely to the highest standard of quality.
The services can be deployed direct or via telephone, email or remote support in order to achieve resolution.
Building strong relationships and liaising with other VMS teams to exceed customer satisfaction expectations of all the activities of VMS is essential to the success of the position and company objectives.

 

¡à ±Ù¹«³»¿ë

• Provide clinical support to new and existing customers
• Respond to queries received by the helpdesk telephone, email, internet from external or internal VMS customers.
• Analyze problems with non-functioning equipment or applications to identify problem area(s) and recommend corrective action.
• Recommend solutions to customer application questions.
• Maintain electronic log of problems so that complaints can be reported to RA/QA.
• Using expert knowledge, help customers adapt or implement new technologies or work processes following installation of new VMS products, and/or to enhance efficiency and ensure customers can operate VMS equipment with the highest level of efficiency according to safety regulations
• Participate in events such as trade shows and exhibitions by conducting demonstrations of oncology products in order to support sales and marketing activities
• Liaise with customer support team on resolving customer issues to ensure customer questions, issues and problems are addressed in a timely manner and that they work in conjunction with project managers to ensure timely implementation of products and software
• Provide feedback, including competitive product performance information to product management for future version functionality
• Share information and ideas with others and keep Account Managers informed of relevant customer and team issues
• At all times act in a professional and customer-oriented manner and attend to customer requests and complaints in a proactive and solution oriented manner
• Support and comply with the requirements of the Quality Management and WHS Management systems
• Perform other duties as assigned.
 

 

¡à Áö¿øÀÚ°Ý

• a minimum of 5 years clinical experience is desirable.

• Medical Physicist preferred or strong treatment planning skillset/experience
• Clinical experience working in Oncology; Medical Oncology as well as Radiation Oncology experience would be highly desirable, alternatively intensive training to cover both product lines will be provided.
• Experienced in the use of electronic medical record software, radiation oncology software, treatment
planning systems and linear accelerators
• Experience using Varian linacs such as Truebeam and ARIA and Eclipse solutions would be highly desirable
• Understanding of oncology department workflow
• Understanding of training principles and solid presentation skills
